WHAT ABOUT THIS BLOG?

Many times I find myself looking at and thinking about the paintings I am working on. What is the next step? What parts could be better? Should I change things? This process takes several days, untill I know what to do. In that time I don't paint. I stare at paintings. This blog is my answer to that "thinking-process". Because I feel that, no matter what, I should paint every day. When I paint every day, I will improve my skills, and it will make my paintings better. That is why I make these small oil paintings, it is a two or three hour exercise. I seem to have less problems doing small paintings. I use Oud-Hollandse Scheveningen and Amsterdam oil paint on board with three layers of midtone gesso.

All these small oil paintings here in this blog will be done in oil on board. You can buy one or more paintings for € 30 each if you see what you like.

If you see a painting that you want to buy, and it is still available, you can purchase this painting by sending me an email. Please write your name, delivery address and title of the painting in the email. Hopefully you are the first who wants to have it, if so, I will mark the painting here as sold and will send you a confirmation email, just to make sure that it is you who wants to buy the painting. After the confirmation, I will send you through PayPal a payment request for the complete costs. Please allow a minimum of two weeks until I can send your painting, as each painting needs to dry for safe shipment.

Mail costs are added to the sales price. Approximately € 6 in the Netherlands and between € 10 and € 20 within EU. Please ask for exact mail costs, as for other countries also.
